Project description
When Design Comes to Life
A watch measures time. A strong brand makes it visible.
For Rado Watch Ltd., we had the privilege of contributing to the media presentation of their trade fair appearance at Baselworld in Basel in 2010 – at what was then one of the most important international stages for the watch and jewelry industry.
For decades, Rado has stood for the fusion of distinctive design, innovative materials, and Swiss watchmaking expertise. High-tech ceramics, in particular, have become a hallmark of the company, continually opening up new possibilities in form, surface, and design.
Our task was to make this world tangible, going beyond the traditional product presentation.
With concept development, visual experience, content creation, technical implementation, and project management, we developed visual content for the trade fair appearance. Screen walls, product films, and moving images became integral parts of the spatial brand communication, providing an additional platform for the new products.
This was a perfect fit for a year in which Rado garnered international attention with collections such as Centrix, Ceramica, and True, as well as design collaborations. The watches were the focus – our task was to bring their stories to life.
Thus, technology, content, and design combined to create a visual brand world that captivated visitors from afar and, up close, revealed the intricacies of the products.
A project from the early years of Event Manufaktur that still demonstrates our core belief:
Good design attracts attention. Good presentation holds it.
